About Amy
Math can be confusing—especially when letters start showing up in equations! But it doesn’t have to be. I believe math can actually be fun and engaging (yes, really!) when it's taught in a relatable way. Whether it’s through baking, hunting, reading, or sports, I love incorporating real-life interests into lessons to help students understand tricky concepts. My goal is to change the way you see math—making it less stressful, more interesting, and a whole lot more manageable. Let’s turn confusion into confidence, one problem at a time!

I’m a fully registered teacher with experience teaching maths from Year 7 through to Year 10, as well as some Year 12 classes. I have worked with students of all abilities, including those with neurodiverse needs and brain injuries. My strength lies in making maths enjoyable, accessible, and relevant by tailoring lessons to each student’s unique interests and learning style. Whether you're into sports, gaming, cooking, or art, I’ll find a way to connect maths to what you love, helping you build confidence and truly understand the subject.
