I have been lucky enough to have work with Shay for 4 years. He is an outstanding teaching and a reliable colleague. His extensive knowledge of English across all key stages has transformed his department.

Passionate about his subject and pupils. Really cares about his pupils with a great sense of humour, great subject knowledge.... You can't go wrong with Shay. I worked with Shay as a fellow HoD and learned lots from him. He is constantly learning about his field and engages with much current research in his field. Has built a department which was the worst to one which is the best by trusting and inspiring his teachers who all want to work with him.
