About KANIKA

Passionate Art Mentor | Focused on Creative Growth & Wellbeing I’m a dedicated visual arts educator and mentor with years of experience teaching students across age groups and skill levels. I teach not just to share techniques, but to inspire confidence, creativity, and self-expression through art. My approach combines technical excellence with emotional well-being, creating a supportive environment where students feel seen, heard, and motivated. With a strong foundation in multiple art mediums and a deep understanding of portfolio requirements for international universities, I guide learners with structure and care—always open to learning and evolving with them. For me, art is not just a subject, it's a journey of growth, and I’m here to walk that journey with you.

About the lesson

As an experienced art mentor, I believe the process of art-making is the true soul of every lesson. My classes are thoughtfully designed to balance technical mastery with creative freedom, allowing students to explore their individuality while building a strong foundation in visual arts.

I bring versatility to every session—whether you're a beginner or preparing an art portfolio for international universities, I tailor my guidance to suit your unique goals. My teaching covers a wide range of mediums including watercolor, acrylics, oils, mixed media, ink, charcoal, and soft pastels.

You’ll receive structured, step-by-step instructions in techniques such as:
- Shading & blending
- Perspective drawing
- Color theory application
- Textural effects
- Still life composition
- Portrait sketching & painting
- Conceptual & thematic development

While I ensure you learn the correct methods, I equally encourage freedom of expression, helping you discover your own voice through art.

Join me to experience a nurturing yet professional space to create, learn, and grow as an artist.
