About Samantha
I am a practicing visual artist born and raised in San Diego with a passion for both creating and teaching art. I graduated from college last year with a degree in fine arts and have been actively working on my own art practice since. I have experience working with children of all ages and am known for my patience, creativity, and ability to connect with young learners. Whether I'm guiding beginners or helping students refine their skills, I bring enthusiasm, encouragement, and a supportive approach to every lesson.

I use a student-centered approach that encourages creativity, builds confidence, and strengthens technical skills at every level. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they are just beginning, preparing a portfolio for college, or working on specific techniques.

We then move into a hands-on project where I offer real-time feedback and encourage exploration. I also include art history and contemporary examples to inspire and expand each student's perspective.

I bring years of experience as both a practicing artist and a dedicated educator, and I am passionate about helping each student discover and develop their unique artistic voice.
