Welcome! I’m Venus, Your Math Tutor

With a strong foundation in math from my Bachelor of Computer Science, where I completed advanced courses in discrete mathematics and computer science mathematics, I bring both depth and clarity to every lesson. My approach emphasizes understanding and confidence-building, ensuring that each student feels supported as they master new concepts. I use personalized, engaging PowerPoints that simplify complex ideas, guiding you through each step at a comfortable pace.

I specialize in tutoring middle and high school students in algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. My goal is to help you not only improve your grades but also develop the skills to tackle any math challenge. I’m also available for quick questions outside of sessions, so you’ll always feel supported.

About the lesson

I focus on creating a personalized learning experience that meets each student’s needs. Using custom-designed PowerPoints tailored to each topic, I break down complex math concepts into clear, digestible steps. I prioritize interactive learning, encouraging students to ask questions and solve problems actively. After each lesson, students can review these PowerPoints at their own pace, giving them additional support outside of class.

Teaching Methodology and Techniques Each lesson is structured to build on previous knowledge and develop confidence through a mix of explanations, examples, and practice problems. I emphasize understanding foundational principles and applying them to solve real-world problems, which is especially helpful for pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry, and algebra.
