Clear explanations and student engagement is the core of my teaching philosophy. In my opinion a good teacher communicates effectively the main topics and ideas of each lesson to students to motivate and equip them with the essential tools and courage to learn new topics through the lectures and on their own.
I focus on students's weakness and explain the topics and include the required steps of solving problems and solve the related examples to the topics. I tutor face to face and I also accept online students. Comparing to my experience my rate is fair and affordable.
I like to get a workbook/textbook with the BC curriculum and go through each unit in one or two lessons. I will do some examples in class to help students better understand the material but I expect students to complete the rest as homework. Following class, I will work on corrections but I usually have them fix it on scrap paper so they can retry it at home and move on to next unit if possible.
I am a patient tutor and I help students who are struggling in class. A typical lesson involves going over concepts and doing practice question or school homework. I am a responsible tutor and have a variety of teaching techniques.
I like to work with every student to maximize on teaching methods they enjoy - whether that is talking about the different ways we can apply the concepts to our everyday life, or understanding the history behind how equations are derived.
Highly interactive teaching methodology, with solid reinforcement of key principles as the focus. I guide students through different question and problem types so that students feel comfortable and confident solving any question that they might get asked on an assignment, quiz or test.
I have the ability to see the unique strengths in each student, and I strive to use all learning modalities to coach students in developing their strengths while working on their challenges. My approach is holistic in nature, and I take into account and am sensitive to the whole person. I am friendly and responsive.
My method of teaching is by case to case basis. I do evaluate the student's capabilities and needs first by asking him on the subject or giving him a test, then structure the lessons accordingly. If he has a specific concern on the subject, I will work with him to get through it.
I find it best to walk a student through a problem, breaking it down step by step and by showing some different ways to come to a solution and then chosing which way works best for their personal learning style. I also make strong analogies and am very good at really simplifying complex concepts into a simplistic terms.
I can teach Mathematics to students of any age (Secondary school, High school and Engineering). I try to ensure that the students' foundation (in the subject or topic of interest) is really strong so that he/she can easily understand the advanced topics in that subject, easily.
From elementary school to undergraduate level (see topics listed under "Background"), I can focus on whatever topic that your current schooling is going through and provide that extra-curricular support you may need in math.
My methodology focusses on understanding the concepts so that you can solve any problem related to the same concepts. Often competitive exams only test a few concepts but the questions are twisted to check the understanding and application of the concepts and I focus on building these skills.
I usually use Skype with the option of sharing my screen so that I can help you watch how I solve problems. For this reason, I use sophisticated software to write mathematical equations. You can be a student or a professional seeking to get admitted in higher studies.
while teaching i have experienced that should should know all the basic concept related to their respective subject. i used to give the depth knowledge of the chapter is very simplified way as student will able to understand the each and every concept.
I believe in understanding the root of the problem rather than solving it superficially. I am rational and will provide reasons for every answer.
As, I have been teaching past 10 years therefore ,I am able to understand kids and their psychology . This makes it easier for me to teach and make them understand the basic concepts. I approach kids in a friendly manner and try to understand what they like the most and how to make them understand the books with their practical application.
Tricks to solve complex problems Logic that nobody else can have to teach you Clearing fundamentals is very important according to me and that is what i teach students from the beginning mock test to know about students understanding in math concepts
The idea of consulting with a tutor is not to have someone who will solve your assignments, but someone who will guide you through finding your own solutions. That way, you can develop your critical thinking skills. My classes are meant for everyone, from kindergarten up to (and including) undergraduate levels.
I enjoy tutoring calculus and over the years have developed several different approaches to aid students. I see my role as helping you get better grades so I work examples directly related to your homework. If you need a refresher on log rules, trig, etc., I will review the pertinent material.
I make doing numerical problems fun with doing minimum calculations without even using a calculator. I will help you with the easiest and quickest way to solve problems be it for your school, SAT, GRE or GMAT. Try a class once.
I have an expertise in online tutoring. My method of teaching is as under :- 1. I focus on clearing concepts of my students. 2. Encourage them to handle problem solving. 3. Develop confidence in handling the subject. 4. Up grade student skills by imparting latest techniques in mathematics.
My methodology involves in understanding the mindset of the student and making things easier for him/her. I believe in understanding the concept and then implementing it logically. Focusing on weak areas and enhancing the stronger ones leads to better understanding and amazing scores.
My teaching methods include guiding students through example problems and giving them the necessary tools to grasp the concept for similar problems. Occasionally, I use visual aids (diagrams, physical objects, graphs etc) to simplify a complex concept. My classes are targeted to students in elementary and high school (Grades 1-12).
I am very familiar with BC math 9-12 curriculum. I can either teach students new topics from scratch or review topics they learn from school. I come to each session prepared with relevant worksheets.
Impart knowledge, develop interest and tell about the importance and applications. I try to teach the student in a very lenient fashion, I keep asking him or giving him fun quizzes and always strive to motivate the student. I am available beyond my work hours for education.
I base my class on current program/class that student is attending and have approach to first explain the topic, answer all questions and concerns, continue with examples working together with the student on solving the problem after few basic examples, where I go over different cases when this lecture topic could be used.
My teaching method is mainly discussion. But I am open to other methods as well based on the needs of the student. I use my past experience and knowledge to explain in a graphical and illustrative manner the subject or topic. I write mainly on a piece of paper when teaching, and may use the internet (E.g. YouTube) if needed. I ask my student qiestins regularly to make sure they are following.
Math has always been a nightmare to kids. I would like to change this for them and have math become their best friend. This is actually not difficult to do, with breaking things down to the smallest pieces and also providing some real life examples, which is a way to interest them with math. In this way students get excited and want to learn more.
I believe in practice. Once a subjective understanding is established, lots of quizes and questions ensure that the students retain what they are learning. The classes are meant for anyone and everyone interested in learning it along with some easy solving Vedic Math strategies. Vedic Math is a technique of solving arithmetic faster.
I like to lead my students in small steps and give them an opportunity to experience achievement in every step, in order to increase their motivation and their self esteem.
