About David

Hi, I’m David — a civil design engineer with a passion for education and helping students thrive. After 20 years of working on designing and managing infrastructure projects, I realized my greatest strength was making complex ideas feel simple and relevant. I am also a father of three, including two with special needs (autism and ADHD). This led me to the decision to begin a Masters of Education (secondary), and has sparked a specific interest in inclusive education. Now, I channel that into tutoring, especially in Math, Physics, and broader STEM subjects. I love guiding students to those “lightbulb moments” — when theory suddenly connects to the real world, and confidence takes off. I’m patient, structured, and genuinely interested in how each student learns best. Whether it's building skills, exam readiness, or simply sparking curiosity, I’m here to support their journey every step of the way.

Hi, I’m David — a Civil Design Engineer turned education advocate, here to help students not just understand concepts but apply them with confidence. With years of experience in sustainable infrastructure and system design, I bring real-world context to lessons that make abstract ideas stick. Whether it’s algebra in Year 7 or tackling Newton’s Laws in Year 12 Physics, my sessions are tailored to your child’s unique learning style and pace.
