About Kelly

Hi! I’m Kelly, a tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a strong passion for helping students truly understand what they’re learning — not just memorize it. I specialize in math, physics, and electrical engineering subjects, but I also enjoy helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills and build confidence in technical topics. My goal is to make complex ideas simple and relatable through clear explanations, examples, and patience. I’ve worked with young students as well as at both high school and college levels, and I understand how challenging STEM courses can be. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on understanding over memorization. I break down complex topics into clear, simple steps and use real-life examples to make learning easier and more engaging. Whether we’re solving math problems, exploring science concepts, or reviewing class material, I make sure students understand why things work — not just how to get the right answer.

A typical lesson begins with a quick check of what the student already knows, followed by guided practice on the areas that need improvement. I adapt my pace and teaching style to each student’s learning level, using visual explanations, interactive examples, and plenty of encouragement.

What sets me apart is my engineering background and my ability to connect technical ideas to real-world applications. I work with elementary, middle, high school, and college students, helping them build strong problem-solving skills, confidence, and curiosity in math, science, and engineering-related subjects.

My goal is to make learning feel logical, achievable, and enjoyable — one concept at a time.
