About Sonica
I have been an English Home Language teacher for 14 years. I have taught Gr 10 to 12 for the majority of my career. I specialize in literature as well as reading skills. I usually teach classes of around 30 learners and know the importance of individual attention.

My teaching methodology involves making the content that is being taught relatable to the different learners. I feel that learners will understand better if they can link the knowledge to what they already know. I also believe in creating an atmosphere where learner can discuss the content in order to aid their learning. My lesson structure always includes the activation of prior knowledge, the teaching of new knowledge and the consolidation of the given knowledge.
