About Sonali
I am an experienced and passionate Biology teacher specialising in GCSE, Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Biology. I enjoy making challenging concepts clear, logical and engaging, helping students move beyond memorisation to develop a genuine understanding of Biology.
My teaching approach is personalised and student-centred. I adapt lessons to suit each learner’s strengths, learning style and academic goals, whether they are building their foundations, catching up on difficult topics or preparing for important examinations.
I have extensive experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum and supporting students with syllabus coverage, revision, past-paper practice, scientific terminology, mark schemes and exam technique. I particularly focus on helping students understand how to apply their knowledge and communicate their answers accurately.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, tackling challenging topics and making steady progress. I want every student to leave a lesson feeling more confident about biology than when they started.

My lessons are designed to make GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-level biology clear, engaging and exam-focused. I use simple explanations, diagrams, real-life examples and targeted questioning to build strong conceptual understanding. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning needs, with regular practice of Cambridge-style questions, revision and exam techniques.
I teach students following the Cambridge GCSE, IGCSE AS and A level biology curriculum and can support learners with understanding difficult topics, completing syllabus revision, improving answer-writing skills and preparing confidently for examinations. Each lesson is interactive and encourages students to ask questions, think scientifically and develop independent learning skills.
