About Jay

I am a post-grad media production student who has been tutored and playing guitar for well over a decade (awarded grade 7). I have taught socially for several years and am now looking to offer my services more professionally. I specialise in folk and classical, but have a wider range that includes pop, country, and acoustic rock

About the lesson

My teaching method is personalised to the student, I however I always seek to give a broad understanding of theory to work on alongside the practical in order to form an individual playing style. I like to work with the student to figure out exactly how they learn best and then provide that.

Jay is an amazing tutor! She’s so patient and really knows what she’s talking about. I wanted to learn guitar for ages but just couldn’t get to grips with it myself. Jay took her time with me and I learnt really easily from her.
