About Diana

I’m Diana, a qualified secondary mathematics teacher with over a decade of experience teaching KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, Common Core and IB Maths, both in the UK and internationally. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Science, and have taught in British, international, and IB schools across the UK and abroad. I currently serve as Deputy Head of Senior School Mathematics at a leading international school in the UK, where I support curriculum development across IB, AP, and Common Core programmes. My lessons are structured yet flexible, and tailored to each student’s pace through mutual dialogue until all concepts are mastered. I integrate digital tools to make lessons visual and effective, and specialise in building confidence in problem-solving and exam readiness. Whether you're preparing for an entrance exam, aiming for top grades, or just looking to improve or enrich your mathematical understanding, I can help you get there.

About the lesson

I am a passionate and experienced mathematics teacher with a genuine love for my subject. I’ve taught students from all over the world, helping them succeed in IGCSE, A-Level, and IB Mathematics, as well as develop confidence and enjoyment in learning. I believe every student can grow in maths with the right explanation, and by understanding where the students are currently and where they aim to go. I tutor because I genuinely love helping students unlock their mathematical thinking, build strong foundations, and experience that "aha!" moment when things truly click conceptually. Most of my students state that they learn rapidly from me as well as that they find a new appreciation and joy in such an important subject.

He is an able mathematician and math is one of his strengths but he was not enjoying his lessons and his marks were not strong. Diana tutored him and soon my son's understanding of the complex math concepts improved and so did his marks!
