About Skyler
Hi! I’m Ms. Lee, and I am currently in my sixth year teaching kindergarten. Teaching young children and helping them develop a love for learning is truly my passion! I have extensive experience teaching foundational reading skills and understand that every child learns differently. I specialize in helping beginning readers build confidence through phonics, letter sounds, blending, decoding, sight words, fluency, and comprehension. I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating their progress. My goal is not only to help your child become a stronger reader, but to help them feel proud and confident in themselves as a learner.

Learning to read is a big milestone, and I love helping children build the skills and confidence they need to become successful readers! I’m Ms. Lee, an experienced kindergarten teacher specializing in early literacy and foundational reading skills. We can work on letter names and sounds, phonics, blending and decoding words, sight words, fluency, and beginning comprehension. I create fun, interactive lessons based on each child’s individual level, so we can strengthen areas where they need support while continuing to build on what they already know. My goal is to make reading feel achievable, exciting, and fun!
