About Sinni
I hold a Master’s degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Malaya and have extensive experience teaching Mandarin to learners of various ages and proficiency levels. With a strong academic foundation and practical teaching expertise, I design structured and goal-oriented lessons that support steady and measurable progress.
Lessons can be conducted in English or Malay to ensure clear understanding and effective communication. Prior to the start of the course, a short diagnostic assessment will be administered to evaluate the learner’s proficiency level. Based on the results, I will develop a personalised learning plan tailored to the student’s goals, needs, and learning pace.

Specially designed for beginners, foreign learners, and primary students, my lessons focus on building a strong foundation in Mandarin through structured, engaging, and goal-oriented teaching. Each session averages 1 hour, once or twice per week, ensuring consistent progress.
The curriculum covers pronunciation (Pinyin), vocabulary development, listening comprehension, speaking fluency, reading, and writing, as well as exposure to Chinese literature, philosophy, and historical contexts where suitable.
Lessons are available in English or Malay to support effective understanding for non-native learners. Scheduling is flexible and can be arranged based on the learner’s availability.
