About Benjamin
I’m a Mathematics student at Monash University with previous experience tutoring students in math. I’ve always enjoyed mathematics and particularly enjoy helping others understand concepts that initially seem difficult. I also understand what it’s like to need a tutor myself, so I know how important it is to have someone who is patient, approachable and explains things in a way that actually makes sense. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in their math skills.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student and focus on making difficult maths concepts easier to understand. Rather than just giving answers, I work through problems step by step and help students understand the reasoning behind them. Lessons can focus on homework, exam preparation, revision, or strengthening areas where the student lacks confidence. I’m happy to adapt the pace and teaching style to suit each student.
