About Daisy
I hold an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS London and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Exeter. Previously worked as a mental health worker and now a social science tutor at the university. I love travelling and various cultures. I am enthusiastic about languages and am currently learning Japanese, Thai and French myself. I am a native Chinese speaker and am experienced in teaching Chinese to students of all ages for different purposes. Safeguarding trained and with enhanced DBS check.

As a native Chinese speaker, I am offering Chinese lessons (both Mandarin and Cantonese) to students of all levels. Absolute beginners of all ages are welcome. Lessons will be customised to suit your goals:

I have started teaching Chinese to English speakers since 2020, and have enjoyed the process of seeing students' improvment and growth of confidence. I am happy to help whether you are developing a new hobby or just needing a little push before exams.
I tend to use the natural approach to create a relaxing but effective learning environment. By incorporating contents of Chinese culture to help you understand the true meaning of vocabularies and the Chinese way of thinking.
