About Antara

Hi, I’m Antara! I’m a Psychology student based in NYC with over 5 years of tutoring experience working with students from elementary school through high school. I have always enjoyed helping students learn in a way that makes sense for them, because I believe every student has their own strengths and learning style.

Throughout my tutoring journey, I’ve helped students with English, reading, writing, homework support, study skills, and SAT preparation. Working with different ages has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student’s individual needs.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and goal-focused. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions while also challenging themselves to grow. Seeing students become more confident in their abilities is one of my favorite parts of tutoring.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized because I believe every student learns differently. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I focus on understanding each student’s strengths, struggles, and learning style to create lessons that actually work for them.

I help students with English, reading comprehension, writing, SAT preparation, homework support, and building stronger study habits. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students gain confidence in their abilities.

I create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, strengthening writing skills, or catching up in a subject, I will meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.
