About RAHULRAJ

I am a calm, patient, and committed tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students understand concepts that once felt confusing or intimidating. With a strong academic background in Physics, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence, along with professional experience as an AI researcher and a filmmaker, I bring both analytical rigour and creative clarity to my teaching. I am also the founder of Hoomans – Learn with Fun, an educational initiative focused on making learning engaging, intuitive, and enjoyable for students. This experience has shaped my belief that students learn best when concepts are explained clearly, visually, and in a way that connects to real life. I strongly believe in learning through understanding rather than memorisation. My approach focuses on helping students see why concepts work, not just how to apply formulas or procedures. Drawing from my teaching and creative experience, I use simple explanations, visuals, and structured practice to build confidence and long-term understanding. Teaching has been a consistent part of my life for many years, and I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds and learning styles. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing independent thinking skills.

About the lesson

I offer clear, structured, and patient lessons in Physics, Maths, and Python for GCSE, A-Level, and early university students. I hold a Master’s degree in Physics, a Master’s degree in Computer Science with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science and Analytics. I am currently an MRes Creative Computing student at the University of the Arts London. Alongside my academic background, I have over three years of professional experience working as an AI researcher and engineer with well-established institutions and organisations. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes and tailored to the student’s current level, learning pace, and goals. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding and misconceptions, then build strong fundamentals using step-by-step explanations, visual examples, and practical problem-solving. Where helpful, I connect concepts to real-world applications to improve understanding and retention. I also bring over seven years of teaching and tutoring experience, having worked with school students, undergraduates, and adult learners. My lessons are suitable for students aiming to improve grades, strengthen core understanding, or build confidence in Maths, Physics, and programming, including beginners who may feel unsure or anxious about these subjects.
