About Skye
I am a vocal tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a specialization in Voice.
My training covers a wide range of genres including classical contemporary pop jazz and folk allowing students to explore music beyond boundaries.
I focus on building strong vocal technique through structured breath control pitch accuracy and tone development.
Ear training is a core part of my teaching approach helping students recognize intervals harmonies and melodic patterns with confidence.
I also emphasize harmony skills so learners can perform in ensembles choirs and group settings with balance and precision.
Improvisation is introduced gradually to help students develop creativity and spontaneity in their vocal expression.
Music theory fundamentals are integrated into lessons to give students a deeper understanding of what they are performing.
Each lesson is personalized based on the student’s level goals and learning pace ensuring steady and natural progress.
Beginners are guided patiently through basics while advanced learners are challenged with more complex vocal techniques and repertoire.
I encourage consistent practice habits supported by feedback that helps students track improvement over time.
Performance training is included to build stage presence confidence and emotional delivery.
My goal is to help every student develop not just technical ability but a strong artistic identity.
I believe singing is both a skill and an expression of self and I strive to nurture both equally in every learner.

The methodology is built to strengthen musicality pitch control and emotional expression through structured daily practice.
For The Advanced Teen the focus begins with expanding vocal range through controlled siren exercises and scale variations. They should train with a metronome to develop timing accuracy and rhythmic stability.
DAWs like GarageBand or Ableton Live are used to record practice sessions and analyze pitch drift and tone quality. Visual pitch apps help them see real time accuracy and make fast corrections.
Emotional expression is developed by assigning different moods to the same song and recording each version for comparison. This builds awareness of dynamics and storytelling in singing.
The Quartet Player persona focuses more on harmony blending and vocal synchronization with others. They should practice interval matching exercises daily to improve harmonic accuracy.
Group recordings in DAWs help them evaluate balance between voices and adjust volume and tone placement.
Flexibility is trained through genre switching exercises where singers perform the same piece in classical pop jazz and folk styles.
Metronomes are used during quartet rehearsals to maintain tight coordination and prevent tempo drift.
Confidence is built by gradual exposure starting from solo practice then duet work and finally full quartet performances.
Both personas benefit from slow practice before increasing speed to ensure clean technique and stable pitch control.
Vocal apps provide instant feedback and help track improvement over weeks making progress visible and motivating.
Regular recording reviews help identify strengths and areas needing refinement in tone breath control and expression.
This system ensures consistent growth in technical skill emotional depth and adaptability across all musical settings.
