About Noorjahan
Hi, I’m Noor! I’m a graduate and have been working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school since 2023. During this time I’ve discovered how rewarding it is to help children grow in confidence and realise that they’re capable of more than they think.
I especially enjoy building positive relationships with my students and creating a calm, supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Every child learns differently, and I love finding approaches that work for each individual, whether that’s through games, discussion, visual resources or breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
Alongside my role in school, I also tutor English and have experience supporting children with SEND, EAL and literacy interventions. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS Update Service and have completed safeguarding training.
I became a tutor because I wanted the opportunity to support children on a more individual level. Seeing a student become more confident in their abilities—whether that’s improving their reading, understanding a difficult topic or feeling more prepared for an exam—is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Hi! I’m a graduate and an experienced Teaching Assistant who has been working in primary schools since 2023. During this time I’ve supported children in the classroom, worked 1:1 with pupils with SEND, delivered interventions including Nessy, Language for Thinking, reading and spelling, and supported children learning English as an additional language (EAL). I also currently tutor GCSE English.
I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s needs, pace and learning style. My aim is to help students build confidence, develop strong understanding and enjoy learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether your child needs help preparing for exams, improving reading and writing, or simply gaining confidence in English, I’ll work with them to help them achieve their goals.
