About Sherry

As a Veteran Art Educator with 40+ years of working with students, I take pride in having helped many students experience the Love of Art while preparing them for Art as a Career and an Avocation. I am twice Nationally Board Certified and taught in the NC Public System as well as my private studio. I have credentials that include a BA in Art Education and a MA in Instructional Media.

I got my 4 year degree after high school. I started teaching privately during my Junior year. I knew I wanted to do this since I was in 2nd garage!

My credentials:

I have A BA in Art Education, A MA in Instructional Media, and am Nationally Board Certified. I retired from Kong’s Mountain High School in 2012, with

40+ years experience with students of all ages.

My Studio is downtown in Cherryville at 124 Main Street.
