About Stephen
You will find me dependable and flexible. I am easy to be around and always respect my students and carefully listen to their goals, which are always my intent to forefill.
Working with my students is always a privilege and brings me great satisfaction helping each student obtain his or her goals. I have worked with children as young as 5 teaching them to read and others up through college admissions and the military entrance exam.
I have both a BA and MA in Fine Art and have taught and worked in the field since I was 18 years old.

We begin at the beginning by having the student render a portrait or still life drawing to see to what degree the student understands the principals of art. From there over the course of assignments, students are taught how to enhance their work with the addition of value, focus, line, texture, perspective, volume, color theory, tools including pastel, pencil, acrylic, and oil.
