About the lesson

I ask students questions about what they wish to create and learn more about each individual. I also encourage students to ask me questions in return so we have an open dialogue and students do not feel intimidated.

I give demonstrations and show examples of techniques, and explain the uses of each medium. Ongoing and/or small group sessions will often have museum or gallery visits included (upon request).

Beginning students start with basic techniques, then develop concepts as they learn to use the medium.

Artists of all ages are encouraged with their creative journey in my studio. I work with College-Level and Adult Students (ranging from Beginning Level to Professional) as well as children as young as 5 years old. I will only work with Artists under 18 years of age in after a consulation with a parent (on Zoom, phone call or in person).
