I was looking to improve my watercolor skills. The knowledge that Michelle shared with me was outstanding. I have become a much stronger painter thanks to her!

I wanted to make my own holiday cards and Michelle hooked me up! We did a six week session of printmaking with linoleum blocks. We started with ideas, then I drew a couple of themes and picked a design. She showed me how to carve the designs and how to layer them to get what I wanted. Her studio wasn't too far and I had fun. Now I can make my own cards with new designs every year. It was cheaper than taking a class at my community college, too.

I love working with Michelle! I have been drawing for my whole life, but I don't like group classes because I didn't feel like I was really learning anything new. She takes me out to places to draw and helps me move beyond what I was doing. I was stuck in a rut. Now, I'm challenged!

I'm retired and I knew nothing about watercolor painting before I met with Michelle once a week. She was very patient. She also brought everything I needed to get started, which helped because I had no idea where to start. )Art supplies are expensive and I wasn't sure what to buy and didn't want to waste money on things I wouldn't need!) Now I know and I'm really happy I met Michelle. I have a long way to go, but now I love to paint. She inspired me to let go of my fear of making mistakes. And she taught me how to make less of them! I'd recommend her to anyone.

Michelle was very helpful and I learned SO much. My goal was to create a solid portfolio to apply to art school. The advice and instruction she gave me was the best I could've hoped for because she's been there and knew what I needed to do. We explored acrylic, oils, drawiing, watercolors, charcoal, and even collage. When it came to my college portfolio day, I was ready. I start classes in the fall. I am so grateful for the experience.
