When I was in high school and then went to community college I was the student to ask for help with papers. After a couple of semesters I was recommended by teachers alongside their TA's.

We'll introduce ourselves and discuss the assignment requirements and what has been prepared so far. I'll ask what parts are most frustrating and help pare down the instructions down to what needs to be focused on. I'll share some analytical skills on how to investigate and distill prompts as well as what to consider going in to consecutive drafts/edits.
High School and College students
Make sure to have at the very least an outline started. It's okay to throw everything at the wall. Self editing in the first stages of writing will stagnate your process.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Can I interpret prompt and broken down line by line?
Do my first and last sentences of my paragraphs relate to each other? To the prompt?
Do my paragraphs relate to my thesis? To the prompt?
Are my transition sentences written organically to connect the previous idea to the next?
