About Danielle
As apart of Lolo's Tutoring, I am here to not just help teach children, but as well as receiving a better understanding of where there can be complications in the general area of the same studies. This gives me the opportunity of grasping great potential of becoming a better professional as I expand my consumer knowledge of the education system. By doing so, I hope that I am able to assist my students by giving them a worldwide experience of multiple ways on how to work problems out to get their solutions.
I have worked with kids my whole life as I am the eldest child in my family of five. Furthermore, I was gladly given the opportunity of working with children while being in high school in Saratoga, CA. To further explain, there were responsibilities of guiding students through school orientations, teaching my peers of the same age background history of the Black and Polynesian communities, and much more. As I went to college I became a leader of the Pacific Islanders Organization and was able to spread information about the health, culture, etc. of the Pacific Islanders community as well throughout my three years of attending Azusa Pacific University.
As for my experience within teaching I was a representative at Azusa Pacific University for the Information, Media, and Technology Support Center. Here I gained my knowledge as a student of all three areas. In addition, I have studied business management. In order to receive my bachelor's degree, I took courses of Statistics, English Literature, Account I/II and so much more.
With tutoring as a part time occupation, I love getting to know my students. By getting to know students and they way they learn whether it be visually, verbally, etc., it gives me more opporutnities of expanding my knowledge of how to assist a great number of students. My passion of helping students continues to better my qualifications and skillsets as a tutor who longs to better the education system of understanding what children need to work on rather than only fulfilling the district's curriculum sets.
Education: Business Management
With my bachelor's degree I have more understanding on what I can do to understand the problem and how to manage the assignments in an easier way of having the children resolve the issues that are presented during the tutoring session.
