About the lesson

My role is to equip you with the tangible skills that you may use to do just that. Most "good writers" excel not because of their own aptitude, but rather because of exposure to core grammar, research, and vocabulary knowledge. This is empowering as a writer because it strips away the mystique that comes along with written communication and enables you to achieve real progress in your professional and personal lives. I take my background in "skills" education seriously. As a lawyer and healthcare professional by training, I emphasize the value of teaching methodologies that progressively build excellence. In my current world as a healthcare administrator, there is no such thing as an isolated skill set. Although I build a tutoring plan unique to each student, most students should expect routine project-based work. It is important to me that you feel grounded in the writing that you do, and I design your plan to give you self-driven engagement.

Look for someone who is relationship-centered and listens to needs before proposing solutions. Your writing teacher must be an outstanding writer, but an even better listener.
