About Meleesa
Hi, I'm Teacher Meleesa! I'm passionate about helping students find their voice in English—whether it's through speaking, writing, or reading with confidence. I started teaching because I truly believe that language is more than just grammar and vocabulary—it's a powerful tool for expression, connection, and opportunity. With a degree in TESL and ongoing postgraduate studies in Educational Management, I’ve worked with learners of all ages and levels, from early primary to teens preparing for major exams. I teach because I love seeing my students grow—not just in their grades, but in their confidence and curiosity. I want every student to feel heard, understood, and excited to learn. Learning with me means lessons that are interactive, meaningful, and never boring. I’m here to guide, support, and cheer you on every step of the way.

As a tutor, my teaching approach is student-centered, goal-oriented, and adaptive to each learner’s pace and needs. I combine interactive teaching strategies with evidence-based techniques, including gamification, formative assessments, and differentiated instruction, to maintain high engagement and measurable progress. I strive to create a positive, inclusive environment where students feel confident to express themselves and take ownership of their learning.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, structured into warm-up activities, guided instruction, interactive practice, and a reflection or summary segment. This format ensures clarity, consistency, and space for meaningful student feedback. My lessons are designed for primary to secondary students (ages 6–17), particularly those preparing for English exams or looking to build confidence in communication, writing, and reading comprehension.
In short, I tailor every session to ensure it's relevant, engaging, and impactful, helping students grow not just academically, but also in confidence and independence.
