About Yuzhe

I'm from China and I'm always the top student in class in math field. I joined those math competitions when I'm grade three and got prize. I'm Chinese, and I'm fluent in both mandarin and English. I teach piano as well. I graduate in NanKai high school in China and then come to America to educate in Lexington high school. Now I'm a second-grade business major student in Bryant University in Rhode Island. I got most of A and some A- in my math class till today.

My interest in Math began from elementary school. I take extra-curricular class in math at grade one, the teacher there teaches the math in an interesting way which attract me into the math field. As I grow, I feel math is interesting. Some people thought math is boring or hard, while I personally don't believe that, it is just you did not get the way of how to learn it. I like the feeling when you find a hard problem and takes a long time to solve it, at the time I get the result for it, I always feels excited and full of achievement.

I was a math tutor in Lexington high school for two years while I'm a student there. I tutor math subject in the range from grade 7 to grade 12(the math is not hard to me for in those level). I also teach fundamental piano knowledge in Lexington, United States for a year. I have my own way of teaching, I like to set goal with student for class, it maybe to conquer a shortage in a typical point, enhance their grade, or learn about the knowledge before study it in class. With the goal, I can have a more direct view of how to let the class be efficient to student and achieve the goal as the class end. I see a lot of student goes directly to the exercise and did a lot of work, but as the type of problem change, they won’t know how to do it again. It is true that in order to be familiar with math, practice a lot is inevitable. But I believe the first step to learn math is to get to know the formula, definition or how it works before the exercise. As one has fully understood of it, then the next step is to practice, do lots of problems to be familiar with the topic
