About
I received a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and am currently a master's student in physiology at the University of Michigan.
In high school, I immersted myself in mathematics because it's a language of abstract absolutes. I finished both calculus 1 and 2 in high school and while it's been a minute since I last tackled math, I definitely believe I've retained enough calculus to help those with even the hardest of tasks!
I did AP Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology in high school as well. At UC Berkeley, I took general chemistry, organic chemistry, and all the biologies possible for my degree (which is a LOT). So I believe I am very well versed in the chemical and biological languages and am ready to help out in any way I can!

I first will ask the student how they solve a problem and see where the confusions or misunderstandings occur. Next, I would ask the student why their thought process is the way it is regarding a problem, and try to change their way of thinking for the better until solving the problem becomes a little easier to tackle!
I strongly believe that every student has the potential to understand and solve anything they put their mind to. I'm simply here to guide them along though processes that yield correct answers to questions more often than not :)
Find a teacher that inspires you to delve into a subject even more. The last thing you would ever want is to learn out of fear (believe me, I've been there!)
Find a teacher that helps you for the sake of helping, and wants you to learn for the sake of learning!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I believe every question is worth thinking through before asking anyone for their advice. The reason? Every single person is smart, and with just enough investment in yourself, you will find that you will come to a right answer more often than not :)
That being said, it is always acceptable to ask for help anytime during the thinking process as we can learn even more together than alone!

Would love $20 an hour minimum, however because of the Coronavirus craziness, I will tutor for free :) There are more important things than money in this uncertain time period.
