About Martha
I always enjoyed helping my siblings and other friends with their math when I was a young and when I was in college respectively. I was an SI (supplemental instruction coach) while I was earning my associates of arts degree at a community college. I knew as a child I had the passion for math, in particular to teach math.
I am a high school teacher during the regular school year and I teach at a local university during the summers. I have been teaching high school for 16 years and college for over 8 years. All together I have been working in the educational field for 21 years. I have a Master's degree in math education.

Everyday is a joy and a blessing to do my job. One particular event I enjoy being part of is pi day is always a great day to see students involved in doing math activities.
