About Nicholas

I first started tutoring while I was in college. Initially it was simply help that I offered to friends, but I found that I enjoyed helping others understand ideas that they previously thought were out of reach for themselves. I have now earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics and intend to continue studying as I move on to pursue a Master's degree.

I am a tutor specialized in math and physics. My goal is to keep a student thinking in order to reach a correct conclusion by asking questions meant to call attention to the subject, or by giving feedback and explanations on their work. I prefer to leave a student not just with an ability to recite formulas, but a familiarity of the concept and a knowledge of why and how an answer is the right answer.

I have a Bachelor's in Physics and have several years experience teaching students as a tutor.

About the lesson

The first meeting will be spent gauging the students current level and what obstacles they may be facing for their learning. After that we can decide on an approach that will be best for the student.
