About Jared
Mathematics has a reputation for being abstract; this leads to students underestimating the amount of areas in their life math can be applied to. However, if they're able to understand the material concretely, the applications to various parts of life become apparent.
I am currently a third year university student majoring in mathematics at Indiana University.
I have taken advanced courses, including Multivariate Calculus, Probability Theory, and Modal Logic, but I also have experience tutoring friends and peers through a wide range of difficulty of subjects. I know all about the 'curse of knowledge' and focus more on improvement that standardized level.
My SAT scores: 750 on Math, 710 on Reading & Writing
One friend of my said that I made him understand limits and continuity better in one hour than over the course of the entire semester so far.
