About Jose

As someone who has completed the high school and college education journey, I want to share with you what I wish my introverted self knew to put my best and to take control to achieve my academic goals. I'll be glad to answer any of your questions over my experience applying to college to scheduling your time for those hard courses.

After excelling in my ACT and SAT math exams, I was selected for a team to tutor students during the morning period at my highschool. We would assign daily topics and help students solve related worksheets.

As an engineering graduate, I've studied and solved through many technical math problems from ACT/SAT questions to those in Thermodynamic steam problems. Additionally, I have tutored 11th grade students for a semester going over the ACT/SAT math portions afterschool.

About the lesson

First, I'd like to recognize the student's knowledge of the problems/subject they are working over and continue accordingly. Afterwards, I'm open to answering related questions to Math or highschool/college experience as well as recommend steps towards their professional career .

I have worked with students that were worked well alone and just needed that initial guidance on a problem, and I've worked with students that needed help throughout the whole problem solving process.

It would help to know at the very least the topics you have trouble with as the more specific you are the more we know what material to focus on. To know what topics you know.

I had recently graduated from college and had one of my roughest semesters where I was in a situation where I wasn't worried whether or not I would get a career-related position right out of college, but, rather, whether I was going to walk with my friends across the stage this spring. So my graduation was very endearing to me.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think through the different methods they've been taught in class and make sure they understand the parts of that method if they don't understand their connection. They should also think about material that looks related to the problem they are working because sometimes that helps.
