About Nathaniel
I am currently a senior at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) majoring in mathematics. I have multiple years of tutoring experience.
When I work with students of any age, I try to make math problems as interesting as possible. I am patient, but also persistent in helping students grasp mathematical concepts. I strive to help students earn the highest grades possible.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of math with others. I know plenty of students hate doing math and my goal is to provide them the tools they need to succeed in school.
Through my tutoring job at Mathnasium in 2017.
I worked at Mathnasium for over 2 years in high school. I now have almost completed Northwestern's rigorous math program.

I spend time getting to know students. This is a vital step in making tutoring sessions more interesting.
I also try to identify a student's main strengths and weaknesses in the first few sessions. This allows me to better tailor sessions to fit the needs of a specfic student.
At Mathnasium I worked with students from grades K-12. High school students in Calculus related courses would often ask for a one-on-one session with me to prepare for school exams or AP tests.
