About Noah

Often times math lessons aren't connected to how they apply to real life situations. In each of my lessons I find ways to show my students how what they are learning from their homework & textbooks apply to the world around them.

My background is in Civil Engineering and Business Administration. I have experience with high level mathematics such as Calculus I, II & III as well as differential equations though I tutor Algebra I & II and geometry most often.

About the lesson

The first time we meet we will be getting to know each other. I will assess where you are at in your journey through math and we will discuss which learning styles work best for you. The tutoring process isn’t exact and as we have further sessions we will make adjustments to our process to better suite you the student.

I have had the privilege of tutoring in three countries and in two languages. I predominantly tutor mathematics though I have also tutored English while overseas.

My international experience has given me new perspectives which I incorporate into my tutoring lessons to assist students who may be struggling with the conventional teaching styles employed at most schools. I enjoy seeing students who previously struggled with mathematics find the beauty in it and find that they too can excel in this often times difficult subject.
