About Camille
Nothing makes me happier than sharing my passion for learning. I want to help others see the beauty in math, science, and language because it surrounds us every day and we can see and appreciate it if we are taught to open our eyes.
Alternatively, I'm here to help you pass your classes so you can do other things with your life that you enjoy.
Whatever you need tutoring for, I got you (pardon the incorrect grammar)! I have been tutoring since 2012 in English, math, physics, and French. I have experience teaching students with learning disabilities and people from ages 4 to 24.

MATH: I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school math. I have also helped a post-graduate teacher prepare for and pass the GMAT. In high school, I took math up to AP Calculus BC. I received a 5 on both AP exams for Calc I and II. In college, I took Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, and Intro to Probability and Statistics.
ENGLISH: I have tutored English students of various grade levels, mostly in grammar, but also in writing and reading. In 2013, I interned as an assistant teacher at a summer reading camp for children with learning disabilities. There, I taught kindergarten and 2nd-4th grade. I completed the highest level of English classes in high school and I was the copy editor (improving style, grammar, and format of texts) of my high school newspaper. I received a 5 on AP Language and Composition. Additionally, I took three writing-intensive courses in college.
PHYSICS: I have tutored 10th-12th graders in physics. I completed two years of physics in high school (honors and then AP). In college, I took mechanics and optics as well as electricity and magnetism. I received a 5 on the mechanics AP exam.
FRENCH: I took honors French for 5 years and then AP in my senior year. My French teacher recommended me to many of her students. I have tutored middle and high school students in French before and received a 5 on the French AP exam. I am not fluent but very skilled grammatically.
OTHER SCIENCE: I have taken high school and college-level biology and chemistry classes and while I do not have extensive experience tutoring in these subjects, I am confident in my ability to teach them up to a high school level.

I like to develop a rapport with my students by understanding their interests and finding common likes and dislikes. This is useful not only for having conversations but also for developing word problems or describing what they are learning in terms that are more relatable than what is in their textbooks or on their homework.

Find someone who not only knows the material but also whom you feel comfortable asking questions and talking to. Learning can't happen without asking questions, so don't ever feel like asking someone to explain something makes you less smart.
