About Suraya

One of the most important things when learning new material is actually understanding it. Although many people believe its best to take the shortcut and be able to memorize something for a short amount of time just for the sake of the class/test/work, I believe differently. It wasnt until I started teaching myself in ways I would not only understand but be able to remember. This is acheviable in ways of analogys, explinations, and examples. I am a junior in high school and am very pationate about learning as well as teaching. Not only do I tutor kids in my area but I also am ofte picked to tutor kids in my own class. I enjoy this very much!

I have loved teaching sense I was little and continued to encorperate that in my tutoring throughout high school. 



I have tutored for many kids in my area as well as kids at my school. I am currently a High school senior.

I first want to get comfterable with the student and understand them more as a person. My goal is to make learning as enjoyable as it can be and to help students understand it to the best of their ability. Lots of times if one of my students has certain intrests I will relate my analogys and examples to their intrests in order to help create more of an understanding. 



I have worked with students as young as 2nd grade to 11th grade. 



My advice would be to find somebody who you will actually enjoy learning with. A lot of times learning can be a dreadful experience but the more fun the teacher makes it the more succesful it will be. 



A recent event I am fond of is accomplishing close to 70 community service hours from these last couple of months.

I dont have a specific pricing system. I believe price can be negotiable but I am looking for a job anywhere from 15 and up an hour.
