About Gianna

I am a high school student who loves helping others in my community! I've always been a natural leader and teacher throughout life, whether it be in sports, giving advice, or helping a classmate with their homework. I love to see the smile on someone's face when they finally understand that homework problem and the pride I feel in myself and my student! This will be my first time tutoring professionally, but I am confident in my abilities to help a learner in need.

I am currently a sophomore at Casteel High. This means I am able empathize with struggling students.

About the lesson

I personally find myself far more willing to learn in a comfortable environment, that is why i believe it is important to ensure that my student will feel relaxed and prepared for tutoring. It is also crucial to understand that all students learn in different ways, so analyzing the most successful learning technique for a student, whether that be visual, kinesthetic, or auditory, is my next step in ensuring full understanding of their content.

Finding a tutor who will be patient and flexible with a student is very important. A teacher willing to try different methods of teaching catered to each student will prove to be very helpful.
