About Bergandee
I am a medical laboratory scientist by profession but I have an extensive background in teaching and tutoring. I have a true passion for helping students understand concepts that they are struggling to grasp and I feel fulfilled when I am able to see that little light bulb go off. My tutoring strategy is simple; repetition, positive feedback and patience until my student has fully grasped, can apply and regurgitate the subject matter.
I'm also a mom of 2 brilliant children! My daughter is 11, a grade ahead currently in 7th grade. My son is 9 in the 4th grade. We hold education to a high regard in our household as well! My daughter made a perfect score on her math state test with 9 points shy of a perfect score on her ELA state test & my son made a perfect score on his ELA state test with 10 points shy of a perfect score on his math state test.
We are not all work and no play though. In my spare time, we enjoy vacations, and I personally enjoy music, reading, and crocheting. I'm addicted to all things Harry Potter and I love iced white mochas from Starbucks! Lol
