About Sally
Hello! My name is Sally and I am currently in a research year and have one more year of medical school. I graduated college with a BS in biology andphilosophy and a chemistry minor. I have a very flexible schedule and perfer virtual tutoring due to our current pandemic. I have loved tutoring since high school and especially enjoy making difficult subjects such as science or math more understandable and enjoyable for those that need some help. Some services I am able to offer include:
> all subjects K-8
> most high school subjects including english, math, and science
> SAT prep as well as college admittance counseling (helping with applications, essay and resume editing, etc)
> MCAT prep as well as medical school admittance counseling (help with applications, essay and CV editing, interview coaching)
I look forward to working with you and/or your child!
Tutoring: tutoring since age 15. Helped my own brother with SAT prep and he is now studying accounting in college.
College: BS in biology, secondary major in philosophy, and chemistry minor. Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Medical School: currently taking part in clinical research and have one more year to go before graduating.

I first like to get input from the student (and parents if appropriate) on what the student is struggling with the most and what they hope to achieve by hiring a tutor. Is it homework help, understanding concepts, or guidance with studying? Then I customize my tutoring sessions based on their needs. I like to relate topics to real life examples or things that interest the student so they are easier to understand. I also am a big believer that you have mastered something when you can teach it back to me!
