About Patrick

I've been tutoring math for twenty years on all levels. I have a knack for simplifying the most complex concepts.

I love making new friends and developing the minds of young mathematicians every day. I love what I do!

I was a philosophy major at UT, but I got placed in the engineering dorm. Most of my dorm mates sucked at math and I found myself being asked to tutor in math even though I was a lowly liberal arts major. They could just tell I was smart, I guess. This prompted me to switch my major to math.

I have a BA in Math from UT/Austin, and I've been tutoring math since I was about 19 years old. I have a real knack for getting to the bottom of why students are struggling.

About the lesson

I like to give him or her an skill assessment to see what immediate areas for improvement are. Then I like to get to know the student's learning style.

I work mostly with college and high-school students, but I am able to teach all the way up to graduate level mathematics.

Perfect! Math online is extremely difficult for me. However, with Patrick he explains step by step to help me comprehend the material. He reads the textbook and gives real-life examples which makes it easy to understand the math problems. Highly recommend him!

Perfect! Patrick is an amazing tutor! Our high school senior needed some AP Calculus help and Patrick was able to bring him up to speed in one hour.
