About Nancy
I have been sharing my passion for math with students for many years. I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics. I have experience homeschooling, tutoring privately, working at a math center, substitute teaching, and tutoring at a high school. I have worked with both accelerated students and those needing extra assistance. My students have ranged in grade level from elementary school to college. My goal is to assess the needs of each student and help them accomplish their goals.
Seeing a student make a break-through in a difficult concept or master a skill they have been struggling with is rewarding to me. I think math is beautiful and interesting and I love to share my joy for math with others.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I have also taken many education classes.

When working with a new student, I listen to what their needs and goals are. Their goals will inform my approach. I observe how they solve a problem and see if there are skill gaps that need to be addressed in order for the student to progress.
