About Jacob
Hi, my name is Jacob and I hope to suit your needs for a tutor. I have experience tutoring K-12 during high school. Furthermore, I have experience with the ACT and AP testing. I am willing to start quickly and have a wide area of experience. I would say my strengths are in science and social studies(my college majors reflect this), but I can also teach reading and mathematics. Feel free to reach me on here and I hope to meet you soon!
I'm not a business, I am just a current college student looking to help your child this summer. I am passionate about helping people and nothing makes me happier than seeing your child succeed.
I graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in May 2019 with summa cum laude honors. I have taken and passed 7 AP tests and received high marks on standardized testing and the ACT. I am a current student at Xavier University studying Biology and Political Science, and I hope to attend medical school following my undergrad years.

I first will want to know how they learn. Are they a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner? From a child's perspective, working with someone new can be hard, and I will do my best to make sure your student feels comfortable and happy. I like to set up goals for each session as I feel it is a great way to measure growth.
I have worked with students K-12, mostly around the 3rd-5th grade range.
