About Alex

I started teaching groups of all ages and abilities how to rock climb at the Nantahala outdoor center before teaching wilderness instruction in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Afterwards I began teaching Math in my local community.

I taught High School Algebra I, II, and Geometry for the last five years until returning to school at Ga. Tech to pursue a Masters degree in Architecture. I have helped hundreds of students be successful in math.

About the lesson

We can first talk about what are some of the difficulties that a student might be having. I will develop a plan based on the first meeting that includes specific goals and methods of supporting a solid Math understanding.

I have worked with students of all ages and different backgrounds.

I am fond of returning to school to challenge myself and learn more.
