About Kumar Vibhor

I always encourage students to solve the problems and ask queries. From my side, I focus on imparting application based approach to the problem so that student can relate to the problem. At last, no doubt is silly or small. I always prefer that my students ask question multiple times if they haven't understood the topic.

I have an experience of providing home tutoring for 8+ years. During college, I used to tutor my peers for college exams, aptitude tests and competitive exams.

About the lesson

I follow the below approach to work with a new student:

1. Talk to student: I tell students about me so that they become comfortable with me in telling their problems.

2. Problem Identificaton: Understand the problem student is facing. It can be conceptual, solution- related or understanding the question itself.

3. Concept Knowledge: I try to understand whether student is aware about the concept or the mistake if he/she is committing while solving the problem

4. Step by step process: Telling students how to approach the problem.

5. Regular Clarity Check: I keep asking students if they have understood whatever I taught. If the students have single percentage of doubt, I rework the topic with them.

6. Solution: Finally, I move towards solution. Once the solution is completed, I recheck with students if they have understood the whole problem

I have worked with students in the age group of 3 to 21 years. My students' group had comprised of all categories of students: excellent performer, good performer, average performer. With each student, teaching experience has been different. I am grateful that my teaching style and experience have helped students over time.

I taught underprivileged students for free and last year, 5 of them got admission in top Universities.

Thrilled with son's Algebra progress
This is the first time we hired a tutor for our 8th grade son. He has typically been an A/B student, but the world of Algebra presented quite a challenge for him this year. I was a little apprehensive about inviting a stranger to speak with my son online, but Vibhor came highly recommended by a neighbor.
