About Derrick
Hi! My Name is Derrick! I am orginally from Indiana and graduated from Trine University with a Bachelors of Science Degree. Before I became a tutor I worked as a environmental inspector for a prominant consulting firm. Now, I am shifting my focus to help students like you to work towards sucess in science and math feilds. I have always loved math because no matter how complicated the equation, as long as you can learn the basics you can always figure out the answer. I look forward to working with you!

When getting to know a new student and thier capabilities, we will start by working together to asses thier baseline by reviewing a problem together they are currently working on either in class, or for homework. I think this method is most effective becuase understanding what a student already knows is the crucical first step to understand how to help them.
