About Danielle

I have been a math tutor for 7 years officially. I worked for the University of Kansas Algebra program and Kansas Athletics Tutoring Program. There I taught and tutored Algebra, Algebra II, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra. I love connecting with my students and seeing them succeed. I understand how Math can be a hard subject for some people. I pride myself in my ability to help students understand the why, not just the how. My greatest joy is seeing students who dislike math at the beginning learn to love it as much as I do!

I have teaching and tutoring training in Math from the University of Kansas.

About the lesson

In the first session the student and I will learn a bit about each other. There is an important level of trust that we must get to. After that we will discuss what their strengths and weaknesses are as well as their goals. Once we have estabilished where we want to go, we make a plan to get the student there.

I have worked with students of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
