About John
I'm a 2021 graduate of Centre College, where I graduated in math with highest honors. I work full-time as a data analyst, but I'm young and have plenty of free time, so I figured that I could also do some tutoring! I'm willing to tutor any age range and can stretch beyond just math if needed. In high school, I improved my ACT score from a 29 to a 34 using only free materials and a self-designed system, so I'm willing to coach through that as well. I've always had a knack for finding new and different ways to explain concepts for those who don't understand them on the first try!
I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of math and the hard skills that it develops, which extend far beyond numbers. I hope to open up all of these possibilities to anyone I tutor.
