About Austin
I have always excelled as a math student and liked helping other's understand the joy of math. I have 4 years of experience as a math tutor through my high school and I am currently a college student taking math courses. I don't just teach math. I am also experienced in other subjects such as, science, english and history.

First, I would go through the requirements of the class and where they're at in the curriculum with my student. Second, I would see where the student is struggling and provide some ideas and tips. I'd also find out when there are upcoming exams so we start practicing. I would use Kahoot - a learning program kids love - as a teaching tool during and in between lessons. Lastly, I would ask to make contact with the teacher to stay aligned with homework assignments and classwork. This helps everyone have a better understanding of what is going on and can all work together for improvement.
